The number of players in the Argentine fintech ecosystem doubled in two years, with particularly notable growth in two of its four verticals: payments and blockchain and cryptoassets, according to a report prepared by Deloitte and financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) with the coordination of Afluenta and the collaboration of the Argentine Chamber of Fintech.
The report was presented within the framework of the Argentina Fintech Forum -organized by the Chamber, which this year was 100% virtual and had 2135 participants in three days- in a panel in which Ignacio Carballo, director of the Fintech and Digital Banking Ecosystem of the UCA; Marcelo Bastante, Financial Services Industry Leader at Deloitte; Gabriela Andrade, Financial Markets lead specialist at the IDB, and Matías Friedberg, co-founder of Ixpandit.
